Steamboat hits 300 inch milestone
Since 1979/1980, Steamboat has reached their impressive 300 inch milestone - This year marks the 12th time Steamboat has reached this powdery goal.
So far this season, Steamboat has seen 304.5” at mid-mountain and 311” at the summit, including 97.5” and 123” that fell during the month of February alone. This is the twelfth time the resort has reached the 300-inch milestone since the 1979/1980 season. From November 22nd through March 16th, snow has fallen at the resort 54 out of 115 days, including 28 powder days, where more than four inches greeted skiers/riders.
To celebrate, Steamboat will be giving 10 lucky skiers and riders a pair of Solomon Tornado skis with Solomon 912 bindings…
