Detention has taken on a whole new meaning with Detention 2007- The 1st Annual Colorado High School Rail Championship Series brought to you by Own Your C and Winter Park.  Participants of the four series urban rail jam will compete for thousands of dollars in scholarship prizes, sweet new gear, and ultimately walk away with the crown of Rail King and Queen.  Spectators even receive plenty of giveaways just for coming to watch.  Detention 2007 is open to all high school skiers and snowboarders and tests freeskiing and snowboarding skills on mounds of snow brought into the Front Range event locations.  The Winter Park terrain park team will erect an urban-inspired jibbing park with ramps, rails and scaffolding.
