Amazing snow, deep base: Purgatory (Durango)
If you watched the storm roll into Colorado last weekend, you noticed that it favored the Southwest Colorado. You can’t get any more southwesterly than Purgatory (Durango). Add even more “shazaam” to the coolness factor with the resort’s weather forecast for this weekend: Purgatory (Durango) is expecting MORE SNOW this weekend.
“It’s the first big storm of 2007 and when we say big, we mean BIG. We received a total of 36 inches from the weekend storm, leaving us with a 60 inch base.”
