5th Annual Beacon Bowl and Avalanche Awareness Day
Backcountry skiers and riders should not miss this educational avalanche awareness day on Saturday, February 3rd. Participants can compete to see who can find a buried beacon the fastest. Spectators are able to test out the newest avalanche gear and attend clinics on the use of various avalanche products. Prizes awarded to fastest competitors in amateur and professional divisions.

When - Saturday, February 3rd.
Registration - in A-frame at 8:00 a.m. - 10 a.m., Base of Lenawee between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Activities include - Beacon Bowl Competition (recreational and professional) - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Finals will be held at 1:30 p.m. Other Activities include - Beacon Clinics, Tele Clinic, Snowpit, Avy Dog & Beacon Demos and Apres Ski Party NEW SILENT AUCTION - prizes include season pass, 2 lift ticket to each of the “Gems” ski areas (Monarch, Loveland, Ski Cooper, Eldora, Solvista, Sunlight, Powderhorn), Tennessee Pass Cookhouse, 4 Club level tickets for Avalanche game, Night stay at the Denver Residents Inn Denver City Center, and MUCH MORE!!! Raffle prizes include - merchandise from Mountain Smith Sports, Black Diamond and many more! Raffle tickets are now avaliable for New Belgium Cruiser Bike! See Coffee Corner for information.
