Anyone who skis or rides soon learns that boots are your most important piece of equipment. Uncomfortable boots will make you miserable and sloppy boots beget sloppy turns and inefficient skiing. The ideal is a snug but comfortable fit and, unless your feet are perfect, odds are you need to see a boot fitter to achieve it.
