On a recent trip to Crested Butte on a snowy I-70, I had ample occasion to contemplate the art of winter driving, which so few seem to have mastered. If you’re coming to Colorado to ski, chances are you’ll run into snowy conditions on the mountain roads—especially with the epic amounts of snow we’ve been getting this year—so if you’re renting a vehicle and driving yourself, you should be prepared. Here are a few thoughts on how to drive safely.
